Checking the power supply for the control module

Ignition off.
Disconnect the control module.
Selector switch connected.
Ignition on.
Selector switch on.
Connect a voltmeter between control module connector terminal #6 and ground.

The voltmeter should read battery voltage when the SET- switch is activated. The voltmeter should read 0 V when the SET- switch is not activated.
1. The value is OK. Refer to Checking the control module connectors .
2. The voltmeter reads 0 V. Refer to Checking the cable between the selector switch and the control module .
3. The voltmeter reads battery voltage when the SET+ switch is not activated. Refer to Checking for a short-circuit .
