Replacing fuel level sensor (2000-2002): Reinstallation

CAUTION:

Check that the fuel lines are correctly installed.

Reinstall in reverse order.

NOTE:

Insert a new rubber seal when reinstalling. Lubricate the upper section and the inside lightly with petroleum jelly.

Insert the fuel level sensor. Ensure that the arrow on the sensor points towards the marking on the fuel tank.
Tighten the nut to 50 Nm.
