• Ignition on
• Gear selector in position P
• Activate solenoids S4 and S5 individually.

  Read off the current in the circuit. The current should oscillate between 0 and approximately 1 A.

Does the current oscillate? 

• YES 

  Refer to Fault-tracing information 

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the control module
