Installing the steering wheel module

• Remove special tool: 9988695
• Turn the ignition key to position I so that the steering wheel lock is unlocked.
• Reattach the connector (A) to the steering wheel module. Check the engagement.
• Refit the steering wheel module in the steering wheel.
• Turn the steering wheel to access the screws. Tighten to 10  Nm.
• Install steering wheel casings. See: Steering column panels

Check that: 

• The steering wheel is easy to turn.
• The steering wheel lock functions correctly.
• The steering wheel module is correctly secured.

• Turn the key to position II.
• Connect the battery's negative terminal.
• Enter any radio code.
• Set the correct time on the clock.
• Check the horn.

Check that the SRS warning light goes off after approx. 10 seconds.
