Checking wiring and terminals

Check the engine control module (ECM) connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

FENIX 5.1 

• Check the voltage supply to engine control module (ECM) terminals #24 and #32. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults
• Check engine control module (ECM) ground terminals #2 and #3. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

EMS 2000 

• Check the voltage supply to engine control module (ECM) terminals #29 and #30. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults
• Check the engine control module (ECM) ground terminals #3, #28, #33 and #67. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
