Faulty signal. Intermittent fault: Check
Check the signal cables between engine control module (ECM) terminals 57 and 27 and transmission control module (TCM) terminals 14 and 27 for a short-circuit to ground and remedy according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults and for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults , short-circuit to each other and for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
Check the engine control module (ECM) and transmission control module (TCM) connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check in particular for damage, or loose terminal pins.
