Ignition off
Check the connectors on DSA control module terminal 5 and control module terminal 36 for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal 36 and DSA control module terminal 5 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults
Remedy as necessary.
