Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CI-03 is stored in the combined instrument panel if the combined instrument panel registers a fault in the signal cable from the fuel level sensor.

Substitute Value 

None.

Possible Source 

• short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
• defective fuel level sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• fuel level reading faulty.
