Checking the charge lamp: Notes

• Ignition off.
• Ignition on.
• Start the engine.
• Rev the engine once.

  Check that charging lamp lights when the ignition is switched on and that the lamp goes out when the generator starts charging.

Is the charge lamp OK? 

• YES 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking the (D+) supply from the generator (GEN)
