Displays the status of the security settings (whether or not the navigation settings can be modified when the car is moving).

Press <RTN  > followed by <ENT  > within one second to activate the function.

For road safety reasons, the factory default setting is "ON". This prevents modification of certain navigation settings from being made when the car is moving. This status can be changed to "OFF". In this status the navigation settings can "always" be modified.

Use the navigator to select the setting. Then press <ENT  > to confirm the selection and return to the diagnostic menu. To make other changes, press <RTN  > to return to the diagnostic menu.

NOTE:

When the setting is Operation restriction "ON", the status of the signal from the back-up (reversing) lamp switch determines whether all navigation settings can be modified or not. To be able to modify all navigation settings, the status in 2.1 Circuit check parameter c  must display "R" (reverse).
