Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

IMM-122 control module

To indicate their status (whether the control module is new or not) all new control modules (replacement parts) are delivered with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-122 active. After entering the PIN code this code is automatically erased.

Possible Source 

• Defective immobilizer control module.
• Faulty programming procedures.
• New immobilizer control module, not initiated.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The indicator lamp in the combined instrument panel lights until initiation is complete.
• The engine does not start. (The starter motor does not operate).
