The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the audio module (AUD) registers that the signal to the microphone is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the microphone and the control module
• Short-circuit between the signal cables to the microphone.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The microphone is not working.
