Checking The Cable

Ignition off
Disconnect the connector for the rear right-hand treble loudspeaker/upper loudspeaker.
Disconnect the 16-pin connector for the audio module (AUD).
HINT: Both the treble loudspeakers and right-hand rear loudspeakers are connected on the following signal cables.

Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.

Check the signal cable between the Audio module (AUD) terminal #B5 and the rear right loudspeaker terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Check the signal cable between the Audio module (AUD) terminal #B13 and the rear right loudspeaker terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Remedy as necessary.
