Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information AUD-0006

Condition 

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Audio module (AUD) registers that the signal on the signal cable to the loudspeaker in the left-hand door is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code can only be diagnosed when voltage is on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is turned from position 0 to positions II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the control module and the loudspeaker in the left door.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from loudspeakers
