Stability Control

Stability control occurs when the brake control module (BCM) transmits a signal to the engine control module (ECM) to lower the engine torque if any of the drive wheels spin and road friction is reduced. Stability control is available between 0 km/h and top speed. For information about traction control, see the "Traction control" section.
