Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information IAM-1002

Condition

If the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) detects an erroneous signal from the AM/FM antenna, then the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is generated.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• Nothing

Possible Source 

• Short circuit on the cable harness between the antenna amplifier and Integrated Audio Module (IAM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Radio inoperative.
• Poor radio reception.
