Removing Center Console

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2011 Volvo V50, 2010 Volvo V50, 2009 Volvo V50, 2008 Volvo V50, and 2007 Volvo V50. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Ignition off.

Remove the panel inside the center console. It is secured with 4 hidden clips.

Remove the radio panel. It is secured with 2 hidden hooks.

HINT: Insert a small screwdriver and push the hooks away, 1 per side.

Remove the infotainment control module (ICM). It is secured with 2 hidden clips.

HINT: Grip the infotainment control module (ICM) with both hands. Push the control module straight out of the center console. 

Remove:

Remove: 

Unclip the gear selector lever boot.

Lift the center console up/out.
