Erasing DTCs And Resetting Adaptive Functions

It is important that DTCs are erased and adaptive functions are reset when the ECM is replaced or when work involves DTCs 2-3-1, 2-3-2 and 2-3-3, otherwise car may run poorly despite absence of faults.

NOTE:

If using the ECM from another car, DTCs (if any) must be erased and adaptive functions reset before ECM is reinstalled in car.
