Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic functions in the engine control module (ECM) may activate substitute values that result in the driveability of the car being affected. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) detects that the driveability of the car has been negatively affected.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Faults that are detected by another diagnostic function and whose substitute values affect driveability negatively.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Message in the display
• The cruise control does not function at all
• Jerky operation
• Uneven idle
• Poor accelerator pedal (AP) response
• The accelerator pedal (AP) is ignored when braking.
