Opening and unlocking the tailgate (V70/V70XC)

It is possible to unlock the tailgate alone by pressing the separate tailgate button on the remote control, twice within 3 seconds
When the car is locked the handle for the tailgate mechanically disconnects from the lock unit. The tailgate cannot be opened
When the car is unlocked the handle for the tailgate mechanically connected to the lock unit. The tailgate can be opened using the handle.
