Installing the steering wheel

Before installation of the steering wheel the contact rollers must be placed in their center position.

When checking the center position the black spot on the yellow indicator must be located opposite the center arrow.

If the center position is indicated then it should be possible to turn the inner part of the contact roller 2 turns both clockwise and counterclockwise, counted from the center position indicated.

If the center position is incorrectly indicated then it can be adjusted.

To adjust the center position, first carefully turn the contact roller inner part counterclockwise to the end position where a resistance is felt.

From this position, turn the contact roller inner part clockwise slightly more than two turns.

Adjust the yellow indicator by turning until the black spot is located opposite the center arrow.

Pull the contact roller wiring through the hole in the steering wheel.

NOTE: Transfer the marking from the old steering wheel to the new steering wheel before fitting.

Install: 

Tighten the steering wheel module center nut to 43 Nm  .

Fit the connector to the horn (B).

Install steering wheel module.
