If microprocessor/control unit registers that serial interface between SWM and SWS (steering wheel switches) short circuits and signal is low for more than 300ms, diagnostic trouble code SWM-0008 is displayed.

Substitute Value

Cruise-control function does not work when engine is running.

Possible Source

Serial interface between SWM and SWS (steering wheel switches) short circuited.

Cruise control not working at all
Radio steering wheel buttons do not work
RTI steering wheel buttons do not work
Telephone steering wheel buttons do not work.
