Checking cables: Notes
Check signal cable between control module #A47 (#A47) and camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector #2 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
HINT: Use a test screwdriver with at least a 3 W bulb to determine if the cable is short-circuited to supply voltage. Check the ground lead between control module #A65 (#A65) and camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector #3 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
