Checking the wiring and switches
Check the switches at the central electronic module and lock unit. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the signal cable for the lock position sensor between the central electronic module connector terminal #C3 and lock module connector terminal #5. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the signal cable for the lock position sensor between the central electronic module connector terminal #C3 and lock unit connector terminal #5. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-6A09 or REM-6A0B may also be stored if this fault occurs. Click the VCT2000 symbol to read diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
