Checking the function of the ABS warning lamp

• Ignition off.
• Control module disconnected.
• Connect the combined instrument panel.
• Switch on the ignition.

  Connect a temporary cable between terminals 40 and 1 on the breakout box.

Does the ABS warning lamp go out? 

• YES 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the component
