Alarm System
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2009 Volvo S60, 2008 Volvo S60, 2007 Volvo S60, 2006 Volvo S60, and 2005 Volvo S60. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
There are different versions of the alarm system. Some of the versions are market dependent or options:
- Basic Alarm . Doors, hood and tailgate
- Number Of Alarm Cycles . Market dependent. There are two choices, 1 or 10 cycles. The alarm cycle is the number of times the alarm sounds when it has been deployed. An alarm cycle means that the siren sounds for approximately 25 seconds and the hazard warning signal flashers flash for approximately 5 minutes. Once the alarm has been deployed the alarm is reactivated. If a door or hatch is left open, that door or hatch will not be included in the alarm loop when the alarm is activated once again.
Components and switches differ depending on the model year, version and equipment.
