Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AEM-4F62 is stored if the control module registers that the signal is too low on the buzzer cable from the back-up (reversing) warning system.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is on and the back-up (reversing) warning system is not activated, i. e. back-up (reverse) gear is not selected.

Substitute Value

The back-up (reversing) warning system is switched off.

Possible Source

Short-circuit to ground in the buzzer cable from the back-up (reversing) warning system
Defective back-up (reversing) buzzer.
