Replacing the Accessory Electronic Module (AEM)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2009 Volvo S60, 2008 Volvo S60, 2007 Volvo S60, 2006 Volvo S60, and 2005 Volvo S60. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Accessory Electronic Module (AEM) has registered an internal fault.

If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can occur for a number of different reasons. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. Replace the Accessory Electronic Module (AEM) if the fault recurs.

Replace the Accessory Electronic Module (AEM) if the fault is permanent. See Replacing the accessory electronic module .

Remedy as necessary.
