The rear head restraints fold down when the switch on the climate control module (CCM) (3/112) is pressed. The climate control module (CCM) transmits a request via the Controller area network (CAN) to the rear electronic module (REM) (4/58) to activate the function. The rear electronic module (REM) activates the relay. The solenoids (8/59-60) in the head restraints are then powered by the relay.
