Checking wiring and components

Check the MBUS cable between carphone box #C7 and keypad unit/carphone control module #B7 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Check that keypad/carphone module #B16 is grounded.

Remedy as necessary.
