Remove The Gear Selector Assembly

Remove:

• the top panel with the boot and connectors. Work the cable loose
• the catch for the cable at the gear selector lever
• the cable from the end of the gear selector assembly
• the key lock cable. Pry out the yellow locking sleeve slightly
• Lift the cable up from the gear selector assembly
• the 4 screws. See Fig 1.
