Diagnostic trouble code information

Condition

If the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit registers that the signal from the steering wheel angle sensor is missing, diagnostic trouble code SAS-0024 is set.

Substitute Value 

• Stabilizing function disconnected.
• Anti-spin function blocked.

Possible Source 

• The steering wheel angle sensor connector is not connected.
• Open circuit in the power supply to the steering wheel angle sensor.
• Open circuit in the signal wires.
• Internal fault in the steering wheel angle sensor control unit.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
• Stabilizing function not working.
• Anti-spin does not work.
