Replacing the component

NOTE:

The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be stored as a result of foreign objects in the intake passages or contaminants in the electronic throttle unit. Check and remedy these first.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) has registered an internal fault.

If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the Engine Control Module (ECM) or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs.

See Engine Control Module (ECM), replacing

Remedy as necessary.
