Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0003 is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to +12 V in the MBUS signal.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to +12 V in the MBUS signal between the carphone box and the keypad unit/carphone module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The carphone does not function.
• Combined instrument panel message that the carphone is not functioning.
