Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) RTI-1000 is stored if the road traffic information (RTI) control module registers that there is a difference between the written and read data.

Possible Source 

• Difference between the written and read data in the road traffic information (RTI) control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• RTI system is down.
