Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AUM-42F1 is stored if insertion and ejection of the CD is not complete in time.

Possible Source 

• Disc insertion/injection fault in the CD player.
• Defective CD player.
• Defective CD disc.
• Dirt in the CD compartment.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound reproduction from CD player.
• The disc cannot be installed or removed from the CD player.
