Fault Conditions

ECM-3100 is stored if signal from the RPM sensor is missing or if it gives an RPM signal which is too low in relation to signal from camshaft position sensor and PCM interprets it as a fault.

No substitute value is used. Engine may be difficult to start, or not start at all while ECM-3100 is set.
