Repair Procedure

  1. Connect scan tool to DLC. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Erase DTCs from memory. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)  under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. Go to next step.
  2. Recheck for DTCs. If DTC GLA-114 exists, go to next step. If DTC GLA-114 does not exist, go to step  4.
  3. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Try reprogramming VGLA control module. See PROGRAMMING VGLA CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING. If reprogramming does not correct fault, replace VGLA control module. See VGLA CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Program NEW control module. See PROGRAMMING VGLA CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING. Recheck system operation.
  4. Check for poor or loose connections at VGLA control module connector. Repair as necessary. Recheck system operation.
