Adapting The Throttle Position (TP) Signal

The throttle position (TP) sensor signal must be adapted whenever a NEW control module is installed.

Carry out the following:

• Ignition on
• Fully depress the accelerator pedal (AP) so that the kickdown switch (KD) is activated
• Keep the accelerator pedal (AP) fully depressed for maximum 5 seconds
• Release the accelerator pedal (AP).

The throttle position (TP) sensor signal is now adapted.
