Diagnostic trouble code information

Condition

If the control unit registers that switch positions for single wipe and high-speed wipe are activated at the same time for more than 2.5 seconds, diagnostic trouble code SWM-000D is displayed. Continuous checks are done when the control unit is in operation and switches are activated at the same time.

Substitute Value 

• If windscreen wipers are activated, wipers operate at lowest speed.

Possible Source 

• Switch positions for single wipe and high-speed wipe are activated at the same time for more than 2.5 seconds.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Wipers operate at low speed.
