Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-34F0 is stored within 2 minutes if the control module detects a fault in control module knock control circuit.

Substitute Value 

• ignition retarded for safety reasons
• reduced boost pressure

Possible Source 

• defective control module

• malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
