Signal specification, ABS/DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) control module

All the values given are between the relevant terminal in column 1 and terminals #A15 or #A46 (ground), unless otherwise indicated in brackets.

NOTE: It is important that the breakout box is connected and that the ground terminals have been checked before readings are taken.

The wheel sensors generate a current for the control module. When the pulse wheel rotates, the sensor generates a pulsed current (quadratic wave) where the strength of the current depends on the position of the pulse wheel. The frequency increases with speed.
