Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0006 is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the signal to the handset microphone.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the handset microphone signal between the carphone box and the keypad unit/carphone module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Handset does not function.
• Combined instrument panel message that the handset is not functioning.
