Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0016 is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers an internal fault.

Possible Source 

• One or more internal faults has occurred in the keypad unit/carphone module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The carphone does not function.
