Checking the power supply: Verification
HINT: Check after repair that the fault has been rectified.
HINT: Proceed as follows:
- Switch off the ignition.
- Switch off all power consuming components such as the courtesy lighting and the radio.
- Connect an ohmmeter between terminal 16 on the breakout box and the battery negative terminal.
The ohmmeter should read approximately 0Ω.

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows.
- Switch off the ignition.
- Disconnect the breakout box if this has not already been done.
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Switch on the ignition.
When the ignition is switched on, the control module lights the ABS warning lamp. The ABS warning lamp should go out again after approximately 4 seconds.
HINT: The lamp does not go out if the control module has detected a fault.
Is the function of the ABS warning lamp OK?
