Condition

If the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit registers that the steering speed (the speed at which the steering wheel is turned) from the SAS element exceeds 2000° /s, diagnostic trouble code SAS-0042 is set.

Substitute Value 

• Stabilising function disconnected.
• Anti-spin function blocked.

Possible Source 

• The front wheels hit a curb or stone.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
• Stabilising function not working.
• Anti-spin does not work.
