Checking wiring and components
Check the cable between control module #A37 and transmission connector (control module side) #12 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Check the cable between control module #A55 and transmission connector (control module side) #13 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
HINT: With the ignition off and the transmission connector disconnected the resistance between #12 and #13 should be 765-1035 Ω at 20°C (68°F). At other transmission temperatures, see table under Component resistance values .
Remedy as necessary.
