Intermittent fault

Check the cable between control module #A50 and shift solenoid S1 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults and contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

HINT: Voltage should be approximately 12 V with the ignition on and voltmeter connected to control module #A50 and ground. 

Remedy as necessary.
