• Ignition off.

  Check cable between control module #A50 and transmission connector (control module side) #21 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

  Check cable between transmission connector (transmission side) #21 and solenoid S1 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

  Check solenoid S1 by measuring resistance between terminal on solenoid S1 and transmission housing. The resistance should be 12-18 Ω.

  Remedy as necessary.
