Other Output Signals (B5234T3; B5254T; 1998): Overview

The engine control module (ECM) also provides other units in the car with signals and information calculated using the sensors.

The following units receive information from the engine control module (ECM): 

• transmission control module (TCM)
• combined instrument panel.
• trip computer
• air conditioning (A/C) compressor via air conditioning (A/C) relay.
